Out of all the things we’ve done to, or done in our house the thing that gets the most chatter is our homemade concrete table. So without further adieu our 400 pound table and how to make one yourself….
Find a sturdy, I can’t stress enough STURDY table off Craigs List. Ditch the top and sand down the frame and legs to paint whatever color you want.
Create a form using smooth MDF and add chicken wire for durability. Fill with smooth set concrete (ours took 6 bags) and twiddle your thumbs for a couple of days.
Your table will be 400 pounds – get STRONG men to lift it out of the form to sand, fill and seal the beast.
Then, Enjoy! With long sleeves, this sucker is always cold.
Its funny to look back at these pictures, notice: no cabinets, trim, siding on the house, or 3rd bedroom walls! I notice sunshine, I miss summer 😦
