Craft Club – Paper Weave

After my wreath making shindig here, my friend Kelly suggested we form an actual craft club….Introducing the Craftholes!! Because anything is funny at hole at the end.

We should have done something Christmasy, but I dipped into the pinterest reserves and served up a project I’ve been wanting to do for a while – The paper weave

The gist is to slop some food coloring/water paints on some paper, drink wine until it drys and then weave it together.  Just like in first grade.

Here’s the the important part.  Frame it!  If it lives outside the frame, it looks like run-of-the-mill refrigerator art your little one brings home.  Crap.  Sorry moms.  But look what a big mat does for the weave!

I don’t have any completed, framed pictures.  Quite frankly, we drank too much wine and didn’t totally finish…and a few of ours are still wet this morning.  But it was super fun, and I’m looking forward to the next gathering at Kelly’s place next!

About The Neuzel Project

Neuzel is the combination of Neuman and Benzel. Now that Casey and I have been married for 3 years, we could probably be the Neuman Project, but I still love the time we were the Neuzels so it will remain.
