The Front

I’m proud to present, casa de’ Neuzel.  Front shots over the past 2 years.  A few things we tackled; doors, windows, siding, trim and about a million PBR’s – we usually start with those around noon.

Here is the house sometime around moving day.  I forgot to mention we also removed about 6 huge trees.

No dining room window….

Dining room window!!  This was the first big project after moving in.  It was exciting and unnerving cutting a hole in your house.

A couple  months later came the living room windows.

You’ll notice in this picture I have not moved in yet.  How could you tell you ask?  Notice the giant Norwegian flag hanging on the living room wall.

Now an extreme fast forward.  Over the next year use your imagination for the pictures of new front windows, new front and back door, siding, shingles under the eves.  I may have gotten a little lazy with the photo taking. This is where the house stands today, actually to the date.  I took this photo about 20 minutes ago (after painting the front door white).  We are just getting ready to paint the house….color suggestions?

Did I mention that Casey did all this work himself?  With of course, the help of his trusty sidekick, yours truly.  We’re so proud of what this project has become and still have so many projects up our sleeves!

About The Neuzel Project

Neuzel is the combination of Neuman and Benzel. Now that Casey and I have been married for 3 years, we could probably be the Neuman Project, but I still love the time we were the Neuzels so it will remain.
